Northern Vietnam is on the brink of a tourism renaissance with the launch of the region’s most ambitious wellness development to date. Construction has officially commenced on a sprawling hot mineral spring complex in Kim Boi District, Hoa Binh Province, covering 584.73 hectares and backed by a monumental investment of more than 21,000 billion Vietnamese dong. The first phase of the project will see the rollout of three major components:

• An eco-urban complex complete with upscale leisure and living spaces, seamlessly integrated with the upcoming Cuoi Ha cable car system
• A new rural residential area, which includes infrastructure for resettlement and the Quy Hoa housing development
• An expanded Serena Resort, offering modern mineral bathing facilities and a vibrant entertainment hub

Phase one alone spans more than 240 hectares and includes the construction of over 2,500 villas and townhouses, many of which will double as commercial-residential spaces. To optimize development and functionality, the project is divided into two main zones:

• The Northern Zone will focus on tranquil eco-housing with lakeside villas, island homes, and green spaces encircling a scenic lake.

• The Roman Bath Circuit includes four classic stages—Frigidarium, Tepidarium, Caldarium, and Laconium—plus hydrotherapy pools and a Roman-style massage center.
• The Turkish Hammam Zone features domed ceilings, dry and wet saunas, and heated stone loungers for deep relaxation.
• Over 30 outdoor mineral pools inspired by Vietnam’s terraced rice fields will offer mud baths, cold saunas, and family soak areas.
