TourRadar launches new fund to support travel creators, agents and guides

The new program builds on the success of TourRadar Moments, a feature that allows travellers and creators to upload short-form videos linked to specific tours. RISE now extends this by introducing financial incentives and more structured support for contributors who drive traffic and bookings.
According to the company, RISE is already fuelling a growing community of contributors posting content from over 160 countries. It’s also seeing an increased interest in off-the-beaten-path and shoulder-season travel, as well as higher engagement from solo travellers and social adventurers seeking community-based recommendations.
“We’ve seen how platforms like Shopify and Amazon have turned partner ecosystems into billion-dollar engines,” added Pittman. “With RISE, we’re laying the foundation for something just as ambitious: a partner economy that can grow from $1 million today to $10 million and beyond. This is only the beginning.”
To further develop its community, TourRadar also plans to host its first-ever Partner Trip, an immersive experience designed to bring top contributors together for hands-on workshops and destination discovery. The trip will serve as both a networking event and a learning opportunity, highlighting how to turn content creation and client referrals into long-term revenue.

How ChatGPT-5 Delivers Real-Time, Personalised Itineraries for Stress-Free Trips, New Update in Travel Industry

By: Tuhin Sarkar
How ChatGPT-5 delivers real-time, personalised itineraries for stress-free trips is the latest and most exciting new update in the travel industry. Travellers today want plans that adapt instantly, match their style, and remove last-minute stress. With this new update in the travel industry, ChatGPT-5 uses smarter tools, faster thinking, and live awareness to create itineraries that are truly personal. It builds real-time schedules that adjust to changes in weather, transport, and events.
Personalised itineraries reflect pace, budget, and group needs, making each trip feel unique. Stress-free trips become possible because the AI plans ahead, solves problems quickly, and keeps every detail in one place. This combination makes ChatGPT-5 a game-changer for travellers and a milestone in the travel industry’s digital transformation.
Travel planning is getting smarter, faster, and more personal. With ChatGPT-5, itineraries adapt in real time, match your style, and keep stress low. This AI upgrade changes how trips are imagined, planned, and experienced—whether it’s a weekend escape or a global adventure.
How ChatGPT-5 Upgrades Travel Planning
ChatGPT-5 is a major leap for AI trip design. It delivers faster, sharper thinking and builds detailed plans with fewer mistakes. The model handles complex travel requests, keeps track of more details, and responds more like a real assistant. Travellers can move from idea to confirmed plan in less time, with more confidence in the details. It improves on older tools by giving clearer, more reliable daily schedules, reducing the need for endless research and cross-checking.
Personalised Itineraries That Fit Every Traveller
This AI understands context better than before, remembering your pace, budget, accessibility needs, and preferences across long chats. Families, solo travellers, and groups get itineraries that reflect their style—whether slow mornings, packed sightseeing days, or luxury nights. The plans feel designed for you, not copied from a generic list. It can also adapt as preferences change, ensuring the plan stays relevant from start to finish.
Real-Time Awareness for Smarter Trips
One of GPT-5’s biggest strengths is live information. It can adjust plans for weather, traffic, strikes, or last-minute closures. This means fewer wasted hours and missed experiences. Travellers can expect updates that keep the day efficient, avoiding outdated schedules or sold-out activities. This real-time awareness is especially valuable for destinations with unpredictable conditions or seasonal events.
Multimodal Tools Bring Planning to Life
ChatGPT-5 combines text, voice, images, maps, and search in one place. Travellers can see routes, view attraction photos, or get walking maps without leaving the chat. Voice planning allows hands-free adjustments on the go, while image previews help with faster decision-making. This multimodal approach makes planning feel more visual, interactive, and intuitive than before.
From Ideas to Actions in One Flow
Older tools often stop at suggestions. GPT-5 can go further—reshuffling timings, adding bookings, or creating backup plans instantly. Imagine building a full-day schedule, confirming a lunch reservation, and tracking museum ticket availability in one conversation. This removes the hassle of switching between multiple apps and websites, keeping all details in one smart assistant.
Making Group Trips Simple
Group travel is often chaotic, with different interests and schedules to manage. GPT-5 can collect everyone’s must-see spots, merge them into a fair plan, and flag possible conflicts. It suggests compromises, calculates shared costs, and ensures key activities are booked for everyone. This helps avoid disputes and last-minute changes that can ruin group trips.
Local Insight and Seasonal Planning
Beyond big attractions, GPT-5 knows when to suggest quieter alternatives, local dining favourites, or hidden spots. It can build days around festivals, seasonal openings, or safe weather windows. It also advises on respectful, sustainable ways to explore—helping travellers connect with culture without harming communities or the environment.
Dynamic Backup Plans When Things Change
Travel rarely goes as planned, but GPT-5 adapts. If a flight is delayed, it can reorder activities, suggest alternative transport, or recommend nearby indoor attractions. This quick thinking keeps the trip enjoyable even when surprises happen. The AI’s reasoning means changes still match the spirit of your original plan.
Benefits That Travellers Will Notice
Planning is faster—clear day-by-day itineraries appear in seconds and improve with each tweak. Decision-making is easier, with comparisons and trade-offs clearly explained. Stress drops as the AI avoids pitfalls like unrealistic timings or closed venues. During the trip, it keeps all bookings and plans in one accessible place, across devices.
Where It Works Best Right Now
It’s ideal for early trip research, day-trip builders, and cost-aware schedules. It can sequence attractions for smooth flow, factor in accessibility needs, and avoid peak crowds. Families can get kid-friendly routes with rest stops. Food lovers can plan trips around markets and restaurants. Outdoor fans can schedule hikes with weather-safe timing.
Understanding the Current Limits
GPT-5 still needs care with time-sensitive details. Travellers should double-check live conditions, opening times, and ticket availability. It cannot yet book everything directly in all cases, and local micro-details may require a quick confirm. Awareness of these gaps helps users get the best from the tool without surprises.
Comparing GPT-5 to Other AI Travel Tools
Google excels in maps and discovery. OTAs track prices and offer booking integration. Specialist travel apps give live routing and local tips. ChatGPT-5 stands out for flexibility and reasoning—it merges multiple needs into one smooth plan and keeps adapting as the trip unfolds.
AI is changing the way people plan their trips. ChatGPT-5 is the newest upgrade from OpenAI, and it is making travel planning more personal, flexible, and fast. But it is not the only AI tool out there. Many travel-specific AI apps also promise to help you design the perfect trip. This report explains how ChatGPT-5 works, how it compares with other leading AI travel tools, and when to use each.
How ChatGPT-5 Transforms Travel Planning
ChatGPT-5 is designed to think more clearly, remember more details, and work across different media. It can use maps, photos, and voice commands in one place. This makes it easy to plan a trip without jumping between apps. The model also understands complex requests. You can ask it to build a four-day plan for Paris with museums, markets, and family-friendly restaurants. It will create a schedule, suggest routes, and adjust if you change your mind.
Strengths That Make ChatGPT-5 Stand Out
One of the biggest strengths is flexibility. ChatGPT-5 works well for early ideas and creative planning. You can brainstorm destinations, compare them, and then refine the plan. It also remembers context across long chats. This means if you mention your budget, travel style, or accessibility needs, it can shape all suggestions around them. Another plus is multimodal input. You can send a photo of a landmark, and it can identify it, explain the history, and suggest nearby sights.
Where ChatGPT-5 Falls Short
Despite these strengths, ChatGPT-5 has limits. Without live data integrations, it cannot always confirm current prices or availability. It may not know if a site has closed for the season or if a flight is delayed. While plugins or connected services can fill this gap, they are not always active for every user. ChatGPT-5 also does not directly book flights or hotels unless linked with third-party systems. This means you might still need to confirm details manually before finalising plans.
Travel-Specific AI Apps and Their Advantages
Unlike ChatGPT-5, many travel AI apps are built for one purpose—booking and managing trips. These include platforms like GuideGeek, iPlan.AI, Roam Around, and others. They connect directly to airline, hotel, and attraction databases. This allows them to show live prices, track ticket availability, and complete reservations. Their strength is in logistics. If you want to know the cheapest flight on specific dates or see hotel options near a certain landmark, they can deliver that instantly.
GuideGeek: A Strong Competitor
GuideGeek is a travel AI that works through messaging apps like WhatsApp or Instagram. It uses over 1,000 travel-specific data connections to give up-to-date information. This means it can recommend flights, hotels, and attractions with current availability. Human moderators also check many responses, pushing accuracy close to 98%. It is ideal for travellers who want real-time answers without leaving their favourite chat app.
iPlan.AI and Roam Around
iPlan.AI is known for building detailed itineraries. It asks about your trip purpose, travel group, budget, and length of stay. Then it generates a daily plan, which you can edit and share. It also works well for group planning because changes update for all users. Roam Around is faster and simpler. It can make quick itineraries using AI, which is good for early-stage planning. However, it may not include as much live data as other tools.
Other Popular AI Travel Tools
Platforms like Wonderplan, Trip Notes, Sygic Travel, and Vacay Chatbot each have their niche. Wonderplan focuses on interactive itineraries. Trip Notes is strong for research and destination guides. Sygic Travel offers map-based trip planning with route optimisation. Vacay Chatbot is a casual option for chatting about destinations. These tools often work best alongside a general AI like ChatGPT-5, which can tie together ideas from multiple sources.
Expert Reviews and Tests
Reviews from travel and tech publications highlight differences between these tools. Cybernews ranked ChatGPT as the best AI for personalised trip planning in 2025, but noted that apps like Wonderplan and iPlan.AI are stronger for live adjustments. AFAR tested several AI trip planners and found that most still need human checks for bookings and up-to-date details. Kiplinger also warned that ChatGPT-style tools can simplify planning but should not be trusted for time-sensitive data without verification.
Real-World Price and Availability Tests
In one test, MarketWatch compared Google Flights, AI tools, and human travel agents for finding the cheapest flight. Google Flights and human agents outperformed AI for real-time pricing. This shows that while ChatGPT-5 can suggest smart itineraries, it may not beat specialist booking engines for live searches. For now, combining AI planning with direct booking tools gives the best balance.
When to Choose ChatGPT-5
ChatGPT-5 is best when you want creative control. It can handle open-ended requests, mix different types of travel (city, nature, food), and adjust the plan instantly when you give feedback. It is also useful for combining preferences from multiple travellers into one schedule. If your trip is still in the idea stage, or you want a deeply customised plan, ChatGPT-5 is the strongest choice.
When to Choose a Travel-Specific AI
Use travel-specific AI apps when you need instant, bookable results. If you are ready to buy tickets, reserve hotels, or track price drops, these tools will save time. They can also be better for last-minute changes, as they pull live information from suppliers. For complex multi-stop trips with tight timing, they may provide more accurate availability and connections.
Blending Both for Best Results
The most effective method is to use both. Start with ChatGPT-5 to explore destinations, shortlist experiences, and create a balanced daily flow. Then, move to a travel-specific AI to check availability, secure bookings, and get live updates. This way you combine creative flexibility with logistical accuracy. Many travellers already mix AI tools this way, and as integrations improve, the handover will become smoother.
Example Planning Workflow
Imagine planning a two-week trip across Europe. You could start with ChatGPT-5 to build a route covering Paris, Rome, and Barcelona, with museum visits, market tours, and scenic train rides. It would arrange the sequence for the best seasonal weather and least backtracking. Once the plan feels right, you could use GuideGeek to check real-time train schedules, iPlan.AI to add confirmed hotel bookings, and Google Flights to secure the best airfares.
What the Future May Bring
In the next few years, the gap between ChatGPT-5 and specialist apps may shrink. AI models will likely gain more live integrations, making it possible to plan, book, and update in one conversation. Travel-specific apps will probably add more flexible reasoning, making them better at handling unusual requests. The ideal future tool would merge both strengths—personalised creative planning and instant logistical execution.
Final Analysis
ChatGPT-5 is the best all-rounder for flexible, personalised travel planning. It excels at idea generation, adapting to preferences, and combining different travel needs into one smooth plan. Travel-specific AI apps win when it comes to real-time pricing, bookings, and live updates. For most travellers, blending both will give the best results. Start with ChatGPT-5 for the vision, then hand off to a travel AI for the details. This approach keeps the planning process creative, practical, and stress-free.
Examples of How to Use It
Plan a two-day city loop with timed entries and nearby lunch spots. Create a family road trip with short driving segments and bad-weather alternatives. Build a culinary tour around markets and restaurants. Or set up a nature getaway timed to sunrises, trail conditions, and seasonal wildlife. Each plan can be refined in seconds.
Tips for Getting the Best Results
Be clear about dates, budget, and pace from the start. Ask for morning, afternoon, and evening blocks to keep timing realistic. Confirm key details before booking. And don’t be afraid to edit repeatedly until the plan feels perfect. This back-and-forth is where GPT-5’s adaptability shines.
The Future of Travel Planning with GPT-5
With this upgrade, AI planning moves from answering questions to managing outcomes. Long-term memory, live awareness, and better reasoning produce plans that feel tailored and ready to use. Younger travellers are leading adoption, but its benefits are clear for all ages. Soon, the gap between suggestion and execution will shrink further, making travel planning feel more like inspiration than admin.
ChatGPT-5 makes travel planning sharper, faster, and more personal. It builds tailored itineraries, adapts to real life, and keeps stress low. Use it for ideas, structure, and quick adjustments—just confirm critical details before booking. The result is a trip that works in the real world and improves as you go.
