MakeMyTrip has introduced Myra, a generative AI-powered travel assistant designed to offer end-to-end support throughout a user’s travel journey. Built to work conversationally in both English and Hindi, Myra assists with everything from discovering destinations to making bookings and handling post-sale support. This move marks a significant step forward in MakeMyTrip’s broader AI strategy, aiming to simplify travel planning through intuitive interactions.

The assistant is currently in beta and supports both voice and text-based inputs, allowing users to communicate in English and Hindi, with plans to expand to more Indian languages. Myra can respond to nuanced queries like vacation preferences, budgets, or location-specific needs using real-time inventory and pricing data. The AI is integrated directly into MakeMyTrip’s core system, meaning users can seamlessly receive suggestions and complete bookings in the same conversation.

In addition to conversational support, Myra allows users to interact through voice, images, text, and even video. MakeMyTrip’s leadership emphasized that adding regional language support is a deliberate push to democratize digital travel planning for Indian users.
