Frontier Airlines puts unlimted travel pass on sale

Airlines and the rise of AI-powered ticket pricing
Delta Airlines sparks debate over AI-driven pricing as experts warn of rising fare personalization.
- Frontier Airlines is offering its GoWild! annual travel pass for 2026-2027 at a discounted price of $299.
- The promotional pass is valid immediately upon purchase and can be used for travel through April 2027.
- Passholders pay one cent for airfare plus taxes and fees for last-minute domestic and international flights.
Frontier Airlines is bringing back its GoWild! (mostly) unlimited annual travel pass for 2026-2027 and is offering at a steep discount through Friday, Sept. 5.
Frontier Miles members who purchase the pass by Sept. 5 can start using its benefits right away, and it will remain valid for travel through April 2027.
The pass, which normally sells for $599, is currently on sale for $299.
“This is our most exciting GoWild! offer yet,” Bobby Schroeter, Chief Commercial Officer at Frontier Airlines said in a statement. “Our customers can now get nearly two years of unlimited GoWild! flights on Frontier Airlines. This early access price won’t last, so now is the time to lock in the best value we’ve ever offered from America’s Low Fare Airline.”
How Frontier’s GoWild! Pass works
GoWild! passholders can confirm domestic flights 24 hours before departure, or international flights up to 10 days in advance and pay just $0.01 for the airfare when seats are available. Taxes and applicable fees are charged separately, and the GoWild! tickets do not include checked bags or seat assignments, which can be purchased separately.
The airline does not guarantee seat availability on every flight, and has a slate of blackout dates that cover most popular travel periods. Still, when seats are available, Frontier allows GoWild! pass tickets to be purchased on all of the routes it serves.
Frontier’s blackout periods:
- 2025: January 1, 4-5, 16-17, 20; February 13-14, 17; March 14-16, 21-23, 28-30; April 4-6, 11-13, 18-21; May 22-23, 26; June 22, 26-29; July 3-7; August 28-29; September 1; October 9-10, 12-13; November 25, 26, 29-30; December 1, 20-23, 26-31.
- 2026: January 1, 3-4, 15-16, 19; February 12-13, 16; March 13-15, 20-22, 27-29; April 3-6, 10-12; May 21-22, 25; June 25-28; July 2-6, September 3-4, 7; October 8-9, 11-12; November 24-25, 28-30; December 19-24; 26-31.
- 2027: January 1-3, 14-15, 18; February 11-12, 15; March 12-14, 19-21, 26-29; April 2-4.
