Crowne Plaza Caparica Lisbon, Ramada Lisbon and Monte Real Hotel Termas & SPA were distinguished with sustainable tourism certification
Discovery Hotel Management (DHM’s) Crowne Plaza Caparica Lisbon, Ramada Lisbon and Monte Real Hotel Termas & SPA hotels have been recognized with the International Green Key Award. This achievement underlines the excellence and commitment of these hotel units to environmental responsibility and sustainable practices in the tourism sector.
DHM has demonstrated its commitment to sustainability through several concrete initiatives at its sites. Of particular note is the acquisition and installation of high-efficiency equipment, such as heat pumps, which aim to optimize energy consumption and reduce the carbon footprint. The focus on environmental education is also a priority, through projects that aim to promote respect and local culture, such as pedagogical farms and organic gardens. In addition, the group has strengthened its waste management practices and has established partnerships with local agents to boost the sustainable development of the communities where it operates.
