Tracee Ellis Ross has landed a second season of her Solo Traveling series on Roku.

Exclusively reported by Variety, the lifestyle show set viewership records in its debut on the platform. According to a press statement, the series has become the most-watched unscripted Roku Original within the first two weeks of launch in terms of unique viewers.

In the first season, the Girlfriends star traveled through Morocco, Mexico, and Spain, giving viewers an inside look at her adventures, exploring the joys of traveling alone and the power of self-discovery.  The second installment is set to continue the conversation, with the 52-year-old creating more meaningful moments in new destinations.

Moreover, 46% of travelers expressed that they enjoy exploring destinations at their own pace. A significant number (45%) also view solo travel as a tool for self-discovery and personal growth—an especially important consideration in Singapore’s fast-paced, high-pressure urban environment.

Despite the independent nature of solo travel, Singaporean travelers plan carefully. A full 98% of respondents said they conduct trip planning before departure. Their planning goes well beyond just booking flights.

More than half prioritize choosing the right accommodation (57%), assessing safety (51%), and managing budgets (42%). Travelers often use online booking platforms, hotel review sites, and digital travel agencies to support these decisions. These habits show that while solo travelers enjoy the freedom of traveling alone, they are also practical and well-prepared. By taking the time to plan, they reduce risks, increase comfort, and ensure more fulfilling experiences abroad.

The most popular types of solo trips reflect a diverse set of interests. Many travelers from Singapore prefer short city breaks (39%) and shopping holidays (39%), while others opt for more immersive experiences like cultural and historical exploration (35%) or nature-focused travel (34%).
